I think this may be my grandfather. I know he served in a medical unit in Siberia after serving in the Phillipines. However, as he was under-aged when he joined, and he is said to have used another person's birth certificate to join the military. His real name was Frank A. Sweeney, he was from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and he went on to be the President of the Pennsylvania Police Chiefs Assoc. and eventually President of the International Assoc. of Chiefs of Police. He passed away in 1966. If anyone can help me determine if this is the name my grandfather used, or can help me think of a way to further verify my grandfather's service in Siberia, please comment.
